About the Human Resources Department

The Human Resources Department is one of the vital departments that came into existence with the establishment of the university in 2002. The importance of this department is highlighted by the amount of work it accomplishes, as the department completes the transactions received from the ministries, university colleges, university presidency departments, or other government departments. The Human Resources Department is one of the departments of great importance in the work of the university, as it constitutes the basic pillar in all the university activities due to the connection of the deanships and all university departments to its work through the implementation of university orders issued by it in various fields. The department works hard to reach the ideal state by completing the tasks assigned to it in the best possible way. Functions of the Human Resources Department:
First: The department issues university orders for the following cases:
Granting university members regular leaves, maternity and childbirth leaves, maternity leave and sick leave to those entitled to them by the provisions of the laws and instructions in force
Appointing permanent and temporary employees if job grades, financial allocations and legal conditions are available
Granting promotions and annual bonuses and changing job titles to university members
Referring to employees who have reached the legal age of retirement
Granting letters of thanks and appreciation to university members and to all those who provide distinguished services to the university
Transferring and assigning employees between colleges and departments in a way that ensures the smooth flow of work and the development and raising of performance efficiency
Assigning deans, assistant deans, heads of scientific departments and directors of departments affiliated with the university presidency
Forming permanent and temporary committees related to implementing the university’s tasks
Transferring and assigning the services of teaching and employees from the university’s staff to other universities and ministries and vice versa, by the provisions of the laws and instructions in force
Delegating teaching and employees within the country
Confirming employees who are on probation by the Civil Service Law
Second: The university president and his assistants assign work to the department
Third: Answering inquiries received from colleges and departments related to the work of their departments
Fourth: Providing members with confirmation of continued service and the amount of salary for various government departments
Fifth: Direct follow-up and separation of members after they enjoy various vacations, appointments, transfers and retirement
Sixth: Answering the ministry’s letters related to the department
Seventh: Various administrative issues
Eighth: Prepare the job description for teaching staff and technical and administrative employees and approve it from the Ministry of Finance
Ninth: Following up on the attendance and departure process for all members of the university presidency through electronic fingerprint records
Tenth: Follow up on the electronic preservation of incoming books to the university and receive and deliver outgoing and incoming mail to colleges, presidency departments, the ministry, and other government departments
Eleventh: Addressing all government departments and the ministry with everything required by members, colleges, departments, branches and centres at the university
